Discovered via Stephen Drucker, former editor of House Beautiful and newly appointed editor of Town & Country: Orskov Glassware from Denmark, which Drucker calls his "favorite all-purpose glass." Made of heat-resistant borosilicate (laboratory glass), the delicate glasses are deceptively durable and are microwave and dishwasher proof, and unlike most glassware, the base is perpendicular to the walls. Orskov Glassware has been a staple at Peter Miller Books in Seattle for 15 years (Miller first admired the glasses on a trip to Copenhagen) and is also available at the General Home Store in East Hampton.

Above: Orskov Glasses are available in seven sizes; the largest is 6 inches tall, and the smallest is 2.5 inches tall; prices start at $5 for the mini size (perfect for red wine) at Peter Miller Books in Seattle.
